People with irregular income in Pyinmana, Lewei receive foodstuffs for Thingyan period

Officials and Hluttaw representatives distributed food rations yesterday for the unemployed people and those who have no regular income in the Thingyan holiday amid the outbreak of COVID-19.
Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council Dr Myo Aung, officials and local Hluttaw representatives shared the five fundamental foodstuff supplied by the State at the office of General Administration Department in Nay Pyi Taw through the administrators of respective wards and villages.
The Chairman and officials witnessed the distributions of food rations by the Soe Electrics Foundation to the homes of families with no regular income.
Under this food supply programme, a total of 1,080 families in Leiwei Township received rice, cooking oil, sale, onions and beans yesterday. Such foodstuffs will also be distributed to more than 38,000 families of Leiwei Township.—Han Lin Naing (Translated by Aung Khin)
