The Speaker of the Pyithu Hluttaw, U T Khun Myat, received Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China Mr. Hong Liang who completed his tour of duty in Myanmar.
At the meeting at the Hluttaw Building, they discussed on promoting friendly relations between the governments and parliaments of China and Myanmar, cooperation on the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor, and matters relating to Myanmar’s internal peace.
The Deputy Speaker of the Pyithu Hluttaw, U Tun Tun Hein, and officials from the Pyithu Hluttaw Office were present at the meeting as well. —MNA (Translated by Zaw Htet Oo)
