Rakhine State Chief Minister U Nyi Pu met secretary of Myanmar National Human Rights Commission (MNHRC) U Phone Kywe and party yesterday morning in state chief minister office meeting room.
In the meeting, the commission explained about conducting a field visit to Maungtaw area to study the situation of the region after the terrorist attacks.
The Chief Minister and officials in return explained about the discovery of remains of Hindus near Yebawkya Village. The search came after local Hindus reported the authorities on the massacre by ARSA terrorists and evidences.
Rakhine State Chief Minister and officials then accepted Ks 1.5 million donated to Rakhine State Government committee to accept and distribute donations by MNHRC for ethnic nationals in temporary relief camps. — Tin Tun (IPRD)3
