Aid from the Rakhine State Government reached 12 villages in Maungtaw Township, northern Rakhine State, on Saturday,
More than 250 rice bags supplied by the Rakhine State Government were delivered to 12 villages by officials of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement and the organisation MAUK Serving Humanity.
Disitribution of the rice was as follows: 79 bags went to Sabaegon Village; 16 bags to Yaymyat Village; 26 bags to Ngakhuya Village; six bags to Ahtet Pyuma Village; 11 bags to Auk Pyuma Village; 34 bags to Myoma Kanyintan Village; seven bags to Sabei Pinyin Village; 26 bags to Chanpyin Village; 20 bags to Ywenyitaung Village and six bags to Thayatoak Village.
