Rural people get electricity in Maubin Township

Union Minister at the President Office U Thein Nyunt attended the ceremony to launch electrification for Thongwa, Wadaw, Pabesu nd Bayingyisu villages in Maubin Township on 1 February.
The union minister presented books and publications and a light fire engine to Doh Ywa library in Kyaungywa Model Village.
At the electrification ceremony, the union minister switched on the 200-KVA transformer to supply electricity to Thongwa Village. The union minister also attended a similar ceremony in Wadaw, Pabesu and Bayingyisu villages.
The Ayeyawady Region electrical engineer explained electric safety for the people.
The union minister donated one light fire engine each to Thongwa, Kawetkin and Khanaunghtaw villages. He presented cash assistance to patients at the station hospital in Kyaungywa Village.
Power lines and three transformers were built for supply of electricity to 500 villages in Thongwa Village-tracts.
