SAC member fulfils needs of religious organizations in Loikaw

Religious leaders have to cooperate with each other in unison for tranquillity and stability of the nation, the rule of law, peace restoration, economic development of the State, enhancement of the capacity of youths and requirements of religions under the five-point roadmap and nine objectives of the State, said State Administration Council Member Porel Aung Thein at the meeting with members of the Interfaith Dialogue Group of Kayah State.
The SAC member invited proper suggestions from those religious leaders for peace and stability of the state at the meeting held at the Kayah State government office yesterday morning.
Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin discussed public participation in restoring peace and stability of the state and aid for the Interfaith Dialogue Group of Myanmar.
The SAC member and officials presented cash assistance to 11 religious organizations which explained the undertakings of religious organizations’ future plans and requirements.
Then, the state chief minister made supplementary remarks on the presentations by the leaders of the religious groups and the SAC member made suggestions to ensure coordination between them.
The SAC member and party viewed beautification tasks in Loikaw and Nawngya Lake. They also visited Thiri Mingala Central Market and viewed round trading of commodities.
In a meeting with shopkeepers, the chief minister explained assistance for the reopening of shops at the market and arrangements to stabilize commodity prices. The SAC member and party inspected the construction of market complexes and maintenance works.
On arrival at Thiri Mingala Hill (Taungkwe Pagoda), they inspected progress in the construction of Thiri Yadana Dhammayon and Abhaya Mudra Gandakuti Chamber. — MNA/TTA
