Second day of Children Literature Festival crowded in Mandalay

The Children Literature Festival jointly organized, with the aim of nurturing children who will become leaders of Myanmar to become ones who possess intelligence, creativity, conceptual and verbal skills and love of literature,
by the Ministry of Information and the Mandalay Region Government was packed with more than 45,000 visitors at the Myanmar Information and Institution Technology in Chanmyatharzi Township, Mandalay Region, yesterday. Students and teachers from private schools and public schools in the region and families of residents visited the festival from the opening hour to the closing hour and bought books there all day.
The festival features children poems and literature written by Poet Laureate Sayagyi Min Thu Wun, book stalls of children literature, face coloring, making toys with malleable rubber and various games for children.
On the first floor of the university, entertainment programmes of private school were presented including
story-telling, impromptu talks, children’s library and pictures of characters in power rangers , Spiderman and superman films.
At the literary talks and workshops, Poet Maung Naing Lin (Kawlin), Saya Soe Bar Dine, Saya Thike Tun Thet, Sayama Khin Thida Latt (Man Takkatho), Sayama Khayan Pyar, Saya Nyi Nyi Zaw and Sayama Cho Cho Aye explained their views and participants took part in the discussions.
