Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on tour of Sagaing Region, Chin State


While the government is making arrangements for providing assistance to the flood-affected areas during a six-month rehabilitation period, the Tatmadaw will reconstruct these areas with might and main, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing told the ceremony to donate relief supplies to flood victims at the hall of Kalay Station Sunday. The senior general and party viewed clearing of debris by Tatmadawmen on Kalay-Kalewa road Sunday after visiting flood-affected regiments and units in Kalay and Cikon stations. The senior general and party presented personal goods for the victims to officials. In Falam, Chin State, the senior general gave foodstuffs to the local people while wife of the senior general Daw Kyu Kyu Hla presented cash assistance to Township Maternal and Child Welfare Association. On arrival at the local battalion in Tiddim Township, they provided cash assistance and supplies to the family members.
