The steering committee recently convened at the National Library’s Orientation Hall in Nay Pyi Taw to ensure a successful hosting of the upcoming 24th ASEAN Cultural Subcommittee Meeting. Deputy Minister Daw Nu Mra Zan led discussions on implementing cultural and artistic projects, exchanging views on new heritage initiatives, and allocating the ASEAN Cultural Fund for the 2024 event.
During the meeting, Myanmar showcased its commitment to hosting the gathering, placing significant emphasis on invaluable cultural and fine art projects within the ASEAN region. Officials and committee members enthusiastically engaged in discussions, aiming for a fruitful outcome in organizing the 24th ASEAN Cultural Subcommittee Meeting.
A high-ranking official from Myanmar’s ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community and the director-general of the Historical Research and National Library Department presented detailed plans for the successful execution of the meeting to the relevant subcommittees’ attendees. – MNA/TS
