Supporting actor dies returning from academy awarding ceremony

Supporting actor U Aung Tha, aged 74, passed away aboard the ferry for artistes at 8:20 am on 7 May on his way from the Academy Awards ceremony.
“After taking a seat in the car, he suddenly fainted. When the doctors rushed to him, he was not alive. It is known that he had been having loose bowels since last night. He lived in Shwepyitha Township together with his elder sister. Now we have contacted her,” said a colleague. The dead body will be brought back to Yangon with the help of the Social Association. — TWA/KZW
