Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Win Myat Aye received ambassador of Switzerland Mr. Tim Enderlin, yesterday, at the Maykalar Hall of the Minister’s office in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, they discussed matters relating to social protection programmes, counter-terrorism measures on women, hazard mitigation, bilateral cooperative matters with Switzerland in the rehabilitation programmes and sharing mine risk education, social harmony in Rakhine State, cooperative measures on drawing up National-level strategy to shut down IDP in cooperation with Professor Waler Kalin from Switzerland, cooperation with The ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre) and the Office of the ASEAN Secretary in the repatriation process in Myanmar and disaster risk protection by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
