Union Minister U Aung Naing Oo highlights the role of Investment Facilitation

U Aung Naing Oo, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations met with officials from One-Stop Service (OSS) established under the Myanmar Investment Law in the afternoon of 12 March at the Yangon Region Branch Office of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA).

Firstly, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, U Aung Naing Oo delivered an opening speech. In his speech, Union Minister highlighted that in order to make it easier for doing business; the procedures of relevant ministries are being streamlined and simplified.
He said that promoting online services will continue while reducing barriers for investment.

He also urged the officials to give better services to continue aftercare service activities, strengthening transparency, focusing investment promotion based on investment facilitation, and enhancing the role of One Stop Service (OSS).

After that, the director for the Yangon Region Office of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, U Myo Khaing Oo made a presentation on the activities of the office followed by the discussion of the officials from One Stop Service (OSS). Then, the Union Minister briefed on the presentations of the officials.

After that, the Union Minister inspected the operational status of One Stop Service (OSS). The meeting was attended by the Deputy Directors-General, Directors of the DICA and the departmental officials from the One Stop Service (OSS). —MNA
