The videoconferencing meeting to enhance cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector between Russia and Myanmar is in progress yesterday.

A video conference was held yesterday to discuss issues related to increasing cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector between Myanmar and Russia and establishing the Myanmar-Russia Pharmaceutical Council.
Director-General Dr Myat Wunna Soe of the Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Health, Deputy Director-General Dr Theingi Zin of the Department of Food and Drug Administration and officials, the chairman and members of the Myanmar Pharmaceuticals and Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, Mr Denis Yinokurov from “Chemrar” High-Tech Centre Company based in Russia, International BD and Communication Director and members attended the meeting.
During the meeting, they cordially discussed drugs and testing systems related to the treatment of Covid-19 disease, matters to be planned and implemented to support Myanmar, the issue of obtaining registration of medicines in Myanmar, the matter of being able to import at a reasonable price, technical transfer related to pharmaceutical production, and issues of establishment of the Russia-Myanmar Pharmaceutical Council in order to cooperate through the discussion framework between pharmaceutical manufacturers from Myanmar and Russia, distributors, physicians, officials from the Ministry of Health, and authorities. — MNA/KZL
