Women’s Affairs Federation donates PPE, face masks to NVSC

The Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation supplied 200 personal protective equipment (PPE) and 5,000 face masks to the National Volunteers Steering Committee at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Students and volunteers from Suu Vocational Institute (Shwepyitha) donated 7, 000 cloth masks for IDP camps, and 100 sets of surgical gown for volunteers who are paying their services in quarantine centres.
On 20 May, U Hoke San and Daw Kyin Kyin Yi, U Ohn Kyin, U Than Htay Aung and Ma Cho Cho Win, Ko Kyaw Kyaw Aung and Ma Khin Moe Moe, Dr Moe Myat Tun and Dr Lin Lin Khaing, Dr Aung Zaw Lin and Dr Ei Mon Mon Kyaw (Moe Moe Kyaw family) donated K3 million worth of face masks, while fourth batch alumni of the University of Medicine, Magway, donated K 4 million worth of face masks.
Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Win Myat Aye received the relief items, and presented back certificates of honour to the donors. — MNA (Translated by Kyaw Zin Tun)
