Yangon Convention Centre hosts Yangon Travel Fair 2023

The Let’s Go VACS Yangon Travel Fair 2023 will take place at the Yangon Convention Centre in Mayangon Township, Yangon Region, in 2023 to celebrate World Tourism Day. On the morning of 22 September, the Myanmar Trade Fair kicked off, as reported by the Myanmar Exhibitions, Events and Convention Association.
The Let’s Go VACS Yangon Travel Fair 2023 is organized by the Myanmar Trade Fair and hosted by the Youth Cluster of the Events and Conferences Industry Association (MEECA). The exhibition will run for three days from 22 to 24 September 2023. The festival will feature over 100 exhibitors from various tourism-related sectors, including airlines, travel companies, health service tourism activities, hotels and resorts in the coastal and Old Bagan areas, banking services, restaurants and small to medium-sized enterprises.
“Today’s event is being held to welcome World Tourism Day, which will fall on 27 September. The exhibition is divided into Highland, Beach, Ancient, Staycation and camping zones. It is aimed at encouraging and promoting tourism with an emphasis on the safety and health of tourists,” said U Min Thein, Chairman of the Myanmar Exhibitions, Events & Conferences Association.
In the exhibition, the Myanmar Tourism Bank also has plans to provide travel loans to people who want to travel to promote the tourism sector. — ASH/KZW
