Myanmar’s first ever Yangon Water Bus is slated to run with a fleet of 16 vessels on 6 October along Yangon River, according to yesterday’s report of Myawady Daily.
The ferry fare is set at Ks500, including insurance. Monks and nuns are free of charge. First route of Yangon Water Bus is Hlaingthaya-Insein-Botahtaung route, with about six stops.
Those vessels are ordered from Australia and Thailand and 20 vessels are being locally built in line with international standardization.
