Ex-minister U Min Thu charged under Anti-Corruption Law

The inspection team of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) inspected the complaint against former Union minister at the Office of the Union Government U Min Thu under the Anti-Corruption Law.
According to the findings of the inspection, the former Union minister received K31.5 million for 18,000 NLD T-shirts and K36 million for NLD bags in September 2020 for the NLD to win the election. As he was found that he committed corruption by abusing his position, the first complaint was lodged against him at the Phayagon Myoma police station in Ottarathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, under Section 55 of the Anti-Corruption Law. — MNA
