Myanmar to play Viet Nam today in AFC Women’s Cup Group match

The last day of the 2022 AFC Women’s Cup Group matches will be held in India today and the Myanmar women’s team will play against Viet Nam.
As it is the last day of the group matches, the two matches of Group B and C will be played at the same time.
At the same time with Myanmar vs Viet Nam match, defending champions Japan will also take on South Korea at 2:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time in Group C, while Australia will take on Thailand and Indonesia to play against the Philippines in the same Group B at 8:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time.
In Group C, Japan and South Korea have already advanced to the quarter-finals with six points each from two matches, and the match between the two teams will be played for first place in the group.
In the match between Myanmar and Viet Nam, they have lost two matches in a row, so only the winning team can get third place in the group.
According to the format of the tournament, the top two teams from each of the three groups and the top two teams from third place will advance to the quarter-finals.
In Group B, Australia has reached the quarter-finals with six points, while the Philippines and Thailand had three points each, while Indonesia had no points.
With Thailand playing Australia, it will be difficult to finish second, while the Philippines, who play Indonesia, are almost certain to finish second in the group.
