Revellers throng Yangon Mayor’s Maha Thingyan Pandal

Yangon city including Yangon Mayor’s Maha Thingyan Pandal hosted heavy crowds on the second day of the Thingyan Festival (Akya).
The artistes and Thingyan choral dance troupes presented their performances at the Yangon Mayor’s Maha Thingyan Pandal the whole day.
The pandals, Satuditha and boats filled with water were also arranged along the Maha Bandoola Park and the revellers participated in the water festival also at the pandals of respective districts and townships.
Moreover, the Shwedagon Pagoda and other famous pagodas were also crowded with pilgrims and the donors offered food and snacks, including Shwe Yin Aye and drinking water. —Ko Thaik/GNLM
