Myanmar Rowing team win one silver and six bronzes in SEA Games 31

Myanmar Rowing team won one silver and six bronze medals in the Rowing and Canoeing event of the 31st SEA Games held in Viet Nam on 21 May.
The Myanmar Rowing team won two more medals on the last day of the competition.
In the women’s 200-metre canoe race, Thet Phyo Naing won a bronze medal. In the women’s 200-metre four-athlete canoe race, Thet Phyo Naing, Su Wai Phyo, Myint Myint Soe and Moe Ma bagged a bronze medal for Myanmar.
The Myanmar Rowing team had won no gold medal in the Canoeing and Rowing event but did win up to seven medals. The Canoeing and Rowing competition was held from 17 to 21 May.
The Myanmar team participated in both Rowing and Canoeing events and won three bronzes in the Rowing event, while team Myanmar grabbed one silver and six bronze medals in the Canoeing event.—Ko Nyi Lay/ GNLM
