A vehicle accident occurred in the area of Bawni Expressway fire station on Yangon-Mandalay expressway. The authorities are investigating the fact that no one was found in the vehicle when the relevant authorities went to rescue them.
A Toyota Succeed (Grey colour) hit the guard rail in the middle of the road and overturned on the Yangon-Mandalay expressway between milepost No 54/0 and No 54/1 at 2:50 pm on 29 October. According to the news, troops from Bawni expressway fire station and Bawni expressway police station went to help and rescue.
Only an overturned Toyota Succeed (Grey colour) vehicle was found at the scene, and no occupants including the driver were found in the vehicle or in the surrounding area, according to the Expressway Fire Brigade.
Regarding the incident, relevant authorities continue investigation in order to take action against the driver under the law.—TWA/GNLM
