Honorary dinner in commemoration of 75th Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) Independence Day held in Nay Pyi Taw

Union Minister U Wunna Maung Lwin of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Union Minister U Ko Ko Hlaing of the Ministry of International Cooperation hosted the honorary dinner to title recipient retired and in-service ambassadors who are currently serving in foreign countries and high-ranking officials in the ministry yesterday evening in Nay Pyi Taw.
Union Minister U Wunna Maung Lwin expressed his special pride and joy for being awarded honorary titles and these honorary titles were awarded in recognition of services to the State. The purpose of holding the dinner is to have more friendship, mutual respect and unity among each other, he added. In the afternoon, a coordination meeting was held between the directors-general and ambassadors who are temporarily back at home from abroad on duty to receive honorary titles at the ministry. Union Ministers, deputy ministers and the permanent secretary were also present at the meeting. — MNA/ UTS
