Yangon Mayor’s Maha Thingyan Pavilion installs sprinklers, sprinkler guns and water spray

Sprinklers, sprinkler guns and water spray walkways will be installed at the Yangon Mayor’s Maha Thingyan Pavilion in Thingyan Festival, according to YCDC.
Chairman of the Yangon City Maha Thingyan Festival Working Committee Yangon Mayor U Bo Htay said, at the Yangon City Maha Thingyan Festival Working Committee Meeting on 2 April, that measures will be taken for the public to be able to play water happily and safely during the Maha Thingyan Festival.
Head of the Engineering Department (Water & Sanitation) U Myint Zaw Than discussed the arrangements for water sources, testing of water quality and installation of sprinklers and sprinkler guns and spray walkways.
Film stars, musicians, theatre professionals, basic education and preschool students, and departmental employees will take part in the performances at Mayor Maha Thingyan Festival Pavilion. —TWA/MKKS
