Second meeting held to organize concert in support of Mocha storm victims

The second meeting was held to conduct a fundraising concert in support of the people affected by the Mocha storm at the Myanmar Motion Picture Organization in Wingaba Street in Bahan Township yesterday afternoon.
Advocate-general of Yangon Region U Htay Aung, the chairman and members from Myanmar Motion Picture Organization, officials from Film, Music, Theatrical and Comedian associations and guests attended the meeting.
First, the advocate-general said that the regional government will support the needs of the people affected by natural disasters. Afterwards, U Kyi Soe Tun, Chairman of the Myanmar Motion Picture Organization, expressed thank to all the organizations that contributed to the collective donations. During the fundraising event, the remaining books from the Myanmar Film Centenary event will be sold and the proceeds will be donated.
Finally, members of the Movie, Music, Theatrical, and Comedian Associations discussed the ticket sales, security measures, and the handling of donations and materials. — MNA/KZW
