MoBA Union Minister views relief camps in Rakhine State

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung who is also Chairman of the Rakhine State Stability and Development Coordination Committee, and Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing arrived at Hlaphoekhaung temporary relief camp in Maungtaw via Sittway yesterday to check preparations for rehabilitations.
They went to the Ngakhuya relief camp and coordinated the immigration and healthcare processes.
Then, they visited the Taungpyoletwel relief camp and checked the online and offline connection of data servers for the personal information of the IDPs, and provided foodstuffs to the staff who are working for the camp.
Afterwards, they arrived at Women’s Domestic Vocational Training School in Maungtaw and looked around the training courses and provided cash awards to the trainers and trainees.
Next, they went to the Border Region Ethnic Youth Development Training School and inspected the classrooms, dormitory, and mess rooms and met the students. — MNA/KZL
