Chinese Culture Centre (Yangon) opens summer courses under Myanmar-China cultural exchange programme

In collaboration with Yangon Chinese Culture Centre and Myanmar Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Association, opening of the summer Chinese calligraphy course, flowery cultural course and Yunnan cuisine cookery course in collaboration with Qin He Lou Restaurant took place at Yangon Chinese Culture Centre in Ahlon Township, Yangon, from 28 to 30 March.
The programme aims to increase Myanmar-China cultural exchange relations and for Myanmar students to learn cultural knowledge during the summer vacation.
Ms Xu Ling, in charge of Chinese Culture Centre (Yangon) and Daw Nwe Ni, the director of Wang Florist, gave opening remarks at the event.
Then, after showing an introduction video about Yunnan food, the President of the Myanmar Chinese Art and Painting Association, U Mawli Shwe, gave a demonstration of Chinese brush calligraphy, and the students of Chen Guang Training School played the harp.
The Chinese Culture Centre (Yangon) is located at No 39, 2nd Floor, Min Ye Kyaw Swa Street, (in fornt of Central Women’s Hospital) Ahlon Township, Yangon.
In addition, cultural art and intangible cultural heritage, Wushu and traditional Chinese medical education and cookery courses are conducted for Myanmar audiences free of charge.
Yangon Chinese Culture Centre is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm.
