Course in Diplomacy (6/2017) inaugurated

The Course on Diplomacy (CID – 6/2017), conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was inaugurated at Law Ka Nat Hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw at 10:00 a.m. yesterday. U Kyaw Zeya, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, gave an opening remark there.
Present at the ceremony were Directors-General and responsible officials of the departments under the Ministry and lecturers from relevant Ministries and the trainees.
The 12-week course, aimed at the capacity building and enhances their skills, will cover subjects related to Foreign Policy, diplomacy, contemporary international affairs, diplomatic correspondences, media relations, climate change, translation and interpretation, English language proficiency skills, negotiation skills, international law, international conferencing, international relations and economics. The 51 of newly recruited officers and junior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will attend the course.—Myanmar News Agency
