Myanmar national football team and Ayeyawady United right-back player Kyaw Zin Lwin, recently signed a two-year contract with Shan United, according to the team’s statement.
Kyaw Zin Lwin started his domestic league career in Magwe FC and played till the end of the 2018 Myanmar National League season.
Next moved to the Ayeyawady United in 2019.
Kyaw Zin Lwin made his best assist for the Ayeyawady United and the team claimed the second-place position in 2019 and third- place position in the 2020 season respectively.
Consequently, Kyaw Zin Lwin was selected as a defender for the Myanmar national team.
Upon joining the Shan United, the Myanmar defender has expressed his feeling about moving to his new team.
“Some of my friends asked me why I made a decision to move to the Shan United as one of the greatest Myanmar defenders Ko David Htan is already there. I replied to them that I myself love challenges. I do respect Ko David, but I want to take challenges on the other hand. I’ll try to be better, taking good knowledge and experience from him. Whether or not I’ll be in the line-up is just a part of the issue. On my part, I have to try and I will”, Kyaw Zin Lwin said.
“When I bid farewell to Ayeyawady, I received offers from all the big teams, but I like the way Shan United offered me. The warmth of the people, the interest they showed in me and the respectable discussions – those are the reasons. The presence of head coach Han Win Aung attracts me to go there. The playing style that he explained to me would be a key role in my choice of this team. I think I can blend in it. The last reason is because of the training pitch. I really like the clubhouse with the training pitch attached to it. You can do training whenever you like. I like to do training,” he added.
