False reports of security forces killing two locals in Shwegyin Township

Inaccurate information that the members of the Security Force killed two residents of Malwawkhee village of Shwegyin Township in Kayin State on 3 December has spread on social media.
According to the claims of a security officer and a resident, there were no counter-attack activities of the Security Force near the village on 3 December. The armed terrorists asked for money, recruited new members and arrested and killed the locals when they did not get what they asked for.
The anti-government media intentionally spread misinformation to destroy regional stability and mislead the public. — MNA/KTZH
