An exhibition showcasing the work of local photographers opened Friday at the Yangon Gallery as part of a three-day festival celebrating the visual art form.
The Myanmar Photographic Society’s “All Myanmar Photography Festival” runs from 20 to 22 March, with more than 150 photos on display at the gallery.  The event aims to promote the skills of local photographers, the organiser said.
It is the second staging of the festival, with the organizer inviting enthusiasts to come and enjoy the handiwork of MPS members and other photographers.
During the festival, photographers have an opportunity to attend workshops and talks conducted by local and foreign experts.
Works exhibited at the gallery, located near the Planetarium Museum on Ahlone Road, will be on sale, starting from K 200,000.
