India donates 2 Aarogya Maitri Cubes to Myanmar military

A handover ceremony for two Aarogya Maitri Cubes donated by India to Myanmar military took place at Defence Services General Hospital (1,000-beds) in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
In attendance were Adjutant-General Lt-Gen Soe Min Oo, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Vinay Kumar and medical officials.
First, the video featuring data related to Aarogya Maitri Cubes was played. Then, the Indian ambassador clarified the donation, and Adjutant-General Lt-Gen Soe Min Oo expressed gratitude for donation.
Then, the Indian ambassador handed over the documents, medicines and medical supplies for two Aarogya Maitri Cubes to Director of Medical Services Maj-Gen Ko Ko Lwin.
Then, the Adjutant-General, the Indian ambassador and party observed the demonstration of Aarogya Maitri Cubes.
The Aarogya Maitri Cubes is aimed to provide essential medical supplies to the any developing country affected by the natural disaster or humanitarian crisis as quickly as possible. The “Aarogya” means health and “Maitri” means friend, and so the meaning of the product is that a product that is produced to conduct healthcare services successfully in partner countries. The Aarogya Maitri Cubes consists of 72 cubes, and the facility has an operation theatre, a mini-ICU, outpatient room, x-ray machine, Test Kits and power generator, and so on.
The Aarogya Maitri Cubes will bring benefits to the country and Tatmadaw, and the donation will also strengthen the bilateral relationship and friendship between two countries. — MNA/KTZH
