Information on issuance of passports to be released in Feb last week

Detailed information about the issuance of passports will be released in the last week of February.
The issuance of passports was suspended for security reasons and they will be issued again within the next few days, according to the State Administration Council Information Team Leader Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun.
The online application system for passport issuance is being prepared, and detailed information will be released on 24 February.
QR code applications through the online booking system for passport application and the issuance of passports were suspended from 5 December 2022 and from 2 January 2023 respectively. —TWA/KZW
