Mandalay Region Administration Council holds meeting with district, township councils

Mandalay Region Administration Council Chairman U Maung Ko presides over the meeting with district and township-level administration councils yesterday.

Mandalay Region Administration Council held a meeting with members of the Mandalay District-, township-level administration councils yesterday afternoon at the regional office.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Mandalay Region Administration Council U Maung Ko detailed the five future plans and nine objectives of the State Administration Council.
He also urged the attendees to work hard in the period they took responsibility to achieve progress in their respective districts and townships.

He also called on the members of the district- and township-level councils to make efforts for community peace in their respective areas as it can lead to the peace of the country.

He also urged the departmental officials who are members of the district- and township-level administration councils to abide by the civil service rules and regulations. Townselders who are also members of the councils are also obliged to work hard for their own areas with goodwill and to work for the propagation of Sasana.

Following his speech, Col Kyaw Kyaw Min, a member of the Mandalay Region Administration Council, also made remarks on administration and those present at the meeting reported on undertakings and requirements.
