Misinformation spreads in Zalun: False claims of Tatmadaw recruiting for military roles

AyeyarwadDy Times media’s social media page has published false news that Tatmadaw is recruiting young people in Zalun for military purposes while the warship is visiting Zalun Township, Ayeyawady Region for medical treatment.
Tatmadaw sent medical naval vessels named Thanlwin, Shwepuzun and Saku accompanied by physicians and nurses from Tatmadaw and the Ministry of Health on 31 October.
Tatmadaw provides healthcare services to the local people along the Ayeyawady River and along the coastal areas. The people are satisfied with the military’s visit and providing the necessary medical treatment, and they are very grateful to Tatmadaw leaders who made the arrangements and the medical teams who are providing the treatment.
Intending to divide the friendship between the people and Tatmadaw, some media outlets have written and distributed false news on social media pages to mislead the public about the Tatmadaw.
Tatmadaw continues to carry out necessary healthcare activities for the social development of the people and the improvement of the health sector, as stated by the Tatmadaw. — MNA/KZL
