MoALI Union Minister receives Indian Ambassador

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung received Indian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Vinay Kumar in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
They discussed agricultural mechanization services, irrigation projects in Myanmar, cooperation in the agricultural sector between the two countries, availability from India of onion quality seeds, beans and pulses and cotton resistant to pests and climatic change, cooperation in agriculture between Myanmar and Indian researchers, the sending of students to Assam University of Agriculture, dissemination of technical know-how on farming milch cows and upgrading the quality of dairy products and proper and sufficient use of sunflower quality seeds in domestic production of sunflower. — MNA/MKKS
