MoC holds coord meeting to boost trade between Myanmar and Russia

Myanmar-Russian trade meeting is in progress online.

the meeting on Myanmar and Russia trade promotion was held through videoconferencing meeting at the annexe of the Ministry of Commerce yesterday.
MoC Permanent Secretary U Min Min suggested finding ways to strategically penetrate the Russian market for Myanmar exports.
There is now more than US$60 million worth of trade volume between the two countries in 2019-2020FY. A vision has been set to earn $1 billion in trade, he elaborated. He also stressed the need to build friendly relations in order to implement bilateral cooperation in both government and private sectors.
Afterwards, attendees from departments, teams and merchant associations discussed conditions, difficulties and the potential to increase exports between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by officials from various departments via videoconferencing. — MNA
