Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe met with the Directors-General, Deputy Directors-General and officials of education departments yesterday.
The Union Minister instructed to re-explain the excerpts from the speech of State Administration Council Chairman made on 8 February, five future programmes and nine objectives of SAC to relevant levels of departments and schools.
Then, the Union Minister appreciated the efforts of education staff for serving duties and stressed the need to loyal to the country and follow the Civil Services Law, Rules and ethics.
He also highlighted plans for researches, the establishment of Nay Pyi Taw into an educational city and local and foreign investment for higher education sectors. He urged the departmental officials to cooperate in implementing these plans.
The attendees then presented their respective sectors, and the Union Minister coordinated the meeting.—MNA
