MPF members leave for Sittway to undertake rehabilitation work

Myanmar Police Force members who were sent to storm-affected Sittway township to launch relief and rehabilitation measures were seen off by Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, Central Command Commander Maj-Gen Ko Ko Oo and officials at the Mandalay International Airport yesterday.
The chief minister and the commander encouraged them and provided cash assistance of K15 million and foodstuffs to a total of 600 Myanmar Police Force members from Sagaing Police Training Depot, who will go to Sittway township.
Afterwards, they were reportedly transported to Sittway Airport by military aircraft. — MNA/MKKS
