Myanmar China Association donated medical supplies to the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee in Nay Pyi Taw on 21 May for the protection against and control of the coronavirus disease.
The donation ceremony was held in Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee hall and attended by Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee Vice Mayor U Ye Min Oo, committee members U Min Thu, U Min Thein, Permanent Secretary U Myo Aung, head of the department (city/land) U Min Min Zaw, the deputy permanent secretary, related departmental heads and officials.
The members of Myanmar China Association donated the medical supplies on behalf of Daw Khin Khin Lay, Chairperson of the association. Then, Vice Mayor U Ye Min Oo and officials received the donation items and gave the thankful speech and honourable certificates. The association handed over 15,000 surgical masks, 50 PPE suits and two sets of disinfectant equipment worth K18 million to Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee.—Myint Maung (Translated by Hay Mar)
