Myanmar, China discuss preparations for Kyaukpyu SEZ Deep Seaport project

The meeting on setting preparations to be made by Myanmar and China in advance for the implementation of the Kyaukpyu Special Economic Zone Deep Seaport project was held in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
It was attended by Myanmar Special Economic Zone Central Working Committee Chair Union Minister at the Union Government Ministry 1 U Aung Naing Oo, the deputy minister for Commerce, the chairperson and members of the Kyaukpyu SEZ Management Committee, officials from Rakhine State Government and relevant department officials.
At the meeting, the Union minister instructed to complete the work plan carried out in advance by the Myanmar side in time within the specific time for the implementation of the Kyaukpyu Special Economic Zone deep seaport project and further collaboration with the relevant ministries.
