Myanmar Tatmadaw, Royal Thai Armed Forces hold 3rd cultural exchange programme

The third cultural exchange programme between Myanmar-Thai armed forces was organized at the Office of the Chief of the Defence Force of Thailand in Bangkok, Thailand yesterday.
The event was attended by Chief of the Defence Force Gen Chalermphon Srisawadi of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, Director Lt-Gen Pongtep Gaewchaiyo of the Department of Border Affairs of the Office of the Chief of the Defence Force of Thailand, Royal Thai Armed Forces Cultural Team leader Maj-Gen Krittaphum Luckklai, senior military officers of Royal Thai Armed Forces, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Khun Nay Tun Oo, Tatmadaw Cultural Team leader Brig-Gen Ye Yint Aung and members of cultural teams of both countries.
First, the Chief of the Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Force greeted the Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) and Tatmadaw Cultural Team Leader and took a commemorative photo. Then, the two cultural troupes performed the songs and performance.
After the cultural exchange show, the Chief of the Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Forces presented bouquets and awards to the Tatmadaw Cultural Team, while a Myanmar representative to Thai Cultural Troupe. Then, the event was concluded after taking a commemorative photo of two cultural troupes.
The first cultural exchange programme between the two armed forces was organized from 28 to 31 May 2018 in Thailand and the second one was in Myanmar from 13 to 15 February 2019. The Tatmadaw cultural troupe exposed the cultural status and national cultures of the country and strengthened the military-to-military relationship between the two countries. — MNA
