Myanmar trounces Brunei 7-0 in AFF U-19 Championship

Myanmar U-19 boy team made a 7-0 win over Brunei U-19 team in their AFF U-19 Boys Championship which is being held at Madya Senayan Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia yesterday.
The Myanmar team put pressure on Brunei from the beginning and scored four goals in the second half.
Winning goals for team Myanmar were scored by Moe Swe at 27 minutes, Zaw Win Thein at 29 minutes, La Min Htwe at 38 minutes, Chit Aye at 68 minutes, Taryar Win Htet at 74 minutes, Ar Kar Kyaw at 78 minutes and Thein Zaw Thiha at 85 minutes.
“Congratulations to the players for this victory. Because it was the first international match for boys. I’m glad they did their best. “Even if we win this match, we will have to keep trying because we have to play against big teams,” said team head coach U Soe Myat Min.
Myanmar will play next against Thailand on 4 July, the Philippines on 6 July, Viet Nam on 8 July, and Indonesia team on 10 July respectively. — GNLM
