Myanmar’s Chinlone Team win gold, silver, bronze each in SEA Games

tMyanmar’s Chinlone Team won one gold, one silver, and one bronze medals during the Chinlone completion in the XXXII SEA Games.
On 7 May, Team Myanmar won the gold medal in the Women’s Sames Stoke-Event-2 competition with a score of 221 points.
In this competition, the Cambodian team earned the silver medal with 182 points and the Lao team bagged the bronze medal with 125 points.
In the Men + Women Sames Stoke-Event-2 competition, the Myanmar team collected the silver medal with a score of 198 points, while the host team Cambodia won the gold medal with 206 points and the Lao team picked the bronze medal with 176 points.
In the men’s Sames Stoke-Event-2 competition, the Myanmar team won a joint bronze medal with the host Cambodia team, while the Thai team claimed the gold medal and the Malaysian team garnered the silver medal.
The Myanmar traditional Chinlone sport was first included in the 2013 SEA Games hosted by Myanmar. After participating in the SEA Games again in 2015 and 2017, the game was not found in 2019 and 2021, but it was again included this year. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
