Protest against Timor-Leste, foreign interference in Myanmar’s internal affairs

A protest against Timor-Leste and foreign countries interfering in Myanmar’s internal affairs, led by a group of nationalist activists, was held yesterday at the parking lot next to Maha Bandula Park in front of Yangon City Hall.
After the national flag was saluted, the national anthem was sung, and the ceremony was opened, Sayadaw U Pyinnya Vumsa made a speech.
Then, all those who participated in the protest started rallying with placards bearing slogans such as “Perpetuation of State’s Sovereignty is our cause”, “No to Timor that supports the destruction of religion”, “No to Timor that supports terrorists”, “No to NUG/PDF”, “Don’t interfere in our internal affairs”, “All those who interfere in our internal affairs are our enemies”, and “Oppose those foreign countries, including Timor-Leste, interfering in our internal affairs”.
The protest, led by nationalist activists and members of political parties, was attended by people who were against terrorist acts. — Aung Myint/TKO
