Pyidaungsu Hluttaw convenes 34th day meeting


Pyidaungsu Hluttaw convened its 34th day meeting Wednesday, in which there was an explanation of taxes levied at the ministries of the union government in the first six months of the 2014-2015 fiscal year, which started on 1 April 2014.
A proposal was also submitted to the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw by U Win Than, representative of Thabaung Township constituency, urging the union government to explain its preparations on the proposal of salary increments for civil servants including police officers, which was accepted by the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw on 11 November.
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, representative of Kawhmu Township constituency, also submitted a proposal, urging the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw for the timely release of bylaws and regulations which have been approved by Hluttaw.
Union Minister Dr Kan Zaw and Deputy Attorney-General U Tun Tun Oo discussed her proposal, which was then accepted by the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw.
