Rioters accelerate terrorist acts across country

According to a statement from the Myanmar Police Force, the rioters have accelerated acts of sabotage in accordance with the methods used by the terrorist groups, across the country.
Yesterday, they destroyed state-owned buildings, railways, bridges, public transformers, vehicles used by security forces with handmade grenades and mines in some townships in regions/states.
On 1 April, two men riding a motorbike arrived at the Anti-Human Trafficking Police Unit in Kanpya ward in Myeik town at 7:50 pm and threw a fire bottle on the roof of the building. However, the fire was extinguished and no one was injured.
On 2 April, a handmade grenade was exploded on the left side of the Shan State Hluttaw around 4:40 am. The blast caused three small holes in the wall of the Hluttaw fence.
On the same day, one handmade mine transformed as a time-bomb was found in two suspicious bags near the fence of the Department of Road Transport on Thanthumar road in Thingangyun Township at 8:50 am. Similarly, military engineers had to clear the handmade mine set up at No (62) bridge on the railway between Bago Station and Shwe Hlae Station, Bago Township.
Moreover, there were bomb explosions in Lewe Township, Mawlamyine Township, and Lashio Township but no one was injured.
Security forces are investigating to take action against the perpetrators of the vandalism in accordance with the law, according to the statement of the Myanmar Police Force.—MNA
