SAC Member DPM Union Defence Minister meets staff in Sagaing Region, visits Monywa General Hospital (500-bed), military hospital

Deputy Prime Minister Union Defence Minister General Mya Tun Oo comforts patients in the Monywa General Hospital yesterday.

State Administration Council Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Defence Minister General Mya Tun Oo, Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, North-West Command Commander Maj-Gen Than Htike and officials met the Sagaing Region government, regional-level heads of departments and teachers from primary schools, colleges and universities in Monywa Township at Chindwin Hall of the office of Sagaing Region government on the morning of 19 February.
Firstly, Deputy Prime Minister General Mya Tun Oo clarified the progress of the government’s implementation of the SAC Five-Point Road Map and the five-point ASEAN consensus for Myanmar.
Next, the Deputy Prime Minister and officials visited the residents who are receiving treatment at the Monywa General Hospital (500-bed) and provided nutritious foodstuffs.
In the afternoon, he met the family members of Monywa Station at the Zeyathiri Hall of North-West Command and handed over the foodstuffs. After that, he friendly greeted officers, other ranks and their family members who were present at the meeting.
Then, the Deputy Prime Minister and party went to the local military hospital in Monywa Township to encourage Tatmadaw members and their families, police members and residents who are receiving medical treatment, and provide nutritious foodstuffs. — MNA/CT
