Semi-finals of SAC Chairman Cup U-25 Inter-Ministerial Men’s Football Tourney held

SAC members and dignitaries watch the semi-final match of the SAC Chairman Cup U-25 Inter-Ministerial Men’s Football Tourney in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Semi-final matches of the SAC Chairman Cup U-25 Inter-Ministerial Men’s Football Tournament were held at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday to mark Diamond Jubilee Independence Day.
SAC Members Jeng Phang Naw Taung and U Shwe Kyein, Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein, Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan, deputy ministers, Tatmadaw officers, departmental officials, Myanmar Football Federation officials, and football fans enjoyed the matches.
The Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs team beat the Ministry of Home Affairs team 2-1 at 3 pm and the Ministry of Planning and Finance team beat the Ministry of Border Affairs team 2-0 at 5 pm. The football tournament will be paused for one day on 29 December.
The third-place match will be played between the Ministry of Home Affairs team and the Ministry of Border Affairs team at 7:30 am on 30 December at Wunna Theikdi Football Stadium.
At 3:00 pm on the same day, the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs team will take on the Ministry of Planning and Finance team in the final match. Any sports fans can watch and support the matches for free, officials said. — MNA/KZL
