Nay Pyi Taw, 3 May — Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by senior military officers, on Sunday visited military hospitals in Mingaladon township, Yangon Region, where he spoke words of encouragement and comfort to officers and soldiers wounded in action, offering assistance in cash and kind.
The senior general visited Kyaikhtihsaung Sayadaw Abhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Bhaddanta Pannadipa who is undergoing medical treatment at Defence Services General Hospital (1000-bed) and fulfilled the requirements.
The commander-in-chief asked after individual wounded army members and fulfilled their requirements for medical treatment.
At Defence Services Orthopaedic Hospital, he encouraged wounded officers and soldiers and assured them a guaranteed future free from worries and anxieties. He also encouraged and comforted the families of wounded officers and soldiers receiving treatment at hospital.—Myawady
