Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives PNO delegation

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received U Aung Kham Hti, Patron of the militia force of the PaO National Organization, at the Bayintnaung Yeiktha in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The meeting to discuss development of the PaO Self-Administered Zone was attended by Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun from the Office of Commander-in-Chief (Army), senior military officers and militia members.
At the meeting, the Senior General gave advice regarding the modernization of the agricultural sector of the PaO region that mainly produces tea leaves, potato, avocado, onion and other crops.
The Tatmadaw will provide cooler boxes to store potatoes of the PaO region.
The Senior General also discussed preservation of the Mwetaw Kakku Pagodas which have been included in the list of tourist attractions of Myanmar.
Then, PNO’s Militia Force Joint General Secretary (1) U Nay Win Tun and its members held talks on construction of a seed laboratory and hydropower generation in the PaO region. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing then presented gifts to U Aung Kham Hti and party, according to a press release of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services—MNA (Translated by Aung Khin)
